Trading Levels

The levels, not the indicators, are the cornerstone of trading!

I have experimented with a variety of different indicators such as the MACD, etc., but the essence of indicators is that they always provide information retrospectively, information that one needs for the trade at hand. Indicators also have a rather negative connotation: they tempt you to no longer want to understand the market but to merely watch the indicator and wait for the next signal.

Such a money-printing machine does not exist; if it does, it would not be readily accessible to the public. Why do indicators not always provide reliable signals? Because markets are constantly changing, although patterns and situations may be similar, they are only sometimes 100% identical.

Only those who understand and master the nuances, not thinking in black and white, will be successful in trading in the long run.

For this reason, I use "only" plain vanilla tools. They work and allow us to execute real-time trades immediately because we interpret the information in real time ourselves. These tools are simple Support and Resistance lines, certain levels as mentioned below, and the Market Structure described by TPO and Volume Profiles. The profiling technique I use is based on the classics of market analysis. They are indeed the pillars of analysis as we read the market today. However, only some have these books in their library; if they do, they will likely not be read.

These are "Mind over Markets" and "Markets in Profile" by Jim Dalton and Steidlmayer’s “Market Profile.” I have intensively engaged with this knowledge, analyzed it for many hours, cross-checked it, and tested it. Through this study, I have recognized and learned that the Volume Profile, like the Market Profile (TPO), tells a story.

Yes, both together, not just one of them. Every day, the market tells us which price levels it likes and which it rejects. In any case, there is a reaction at these levels that we can predict with high probability through the study of profiling, and that is precisely the moment to enter our trades successfully.

I am using only these levels (no other indicators)…
